Just a quick rundown of my procedures before and after each client, to put your mind at ease.
With each client, I wear an N-95 mask and a second high filtration mask on top. I wear protective eyewear for the duration of the session and a face shield while the client is face up, however, if you prefer I leave the face shield on for the duration of the session, I am more than willing to do so.
With each client, I don a clean, cotton apron, and after sanitizing the room, I remove it immediately, as to prevent cross contamination. I have a sanitizer in/out policy, so whenever I leave or enter my room, I apply sanitizer. I enter the building wearing a mask and leave wearing a mask, and am never in my massage room unmasked. I take my safety and yours very seriously.
Every surface is cleaned with a high level disinfectant, Rejuventate, which is a hydrogen peroxide based sanitizer. I sanitize my massage tools with PureGreen 24, a high level disinfectant using silver ions and citric acid. Every surface is disinfected before and after every client, including table tops, door handles, light switches, chair, hooks, etc.
Protective coverings are essential for every soft surface. I have an anti-microbial fabric covering my heating pads and face cradle. Each pillow, bolster and the massage table are covered in a medical grade fabric. For each session, the table and face cradle are then covered in a waterproof moisture barrier, which is replaced with each client. Per usual, the linens are fully changed after each client (sheets, blankets, towels, hand towels, etc.) For air quality, I run a medical grade air purifier 24/7, which cleans 100 square feet in 15 minutes. I leave an hour between clients, to ensure time for proper air sanitization and cleaning time, and am limiting my appointments to 2 per day. Floors are vacuumed daily either before or after each client.
As of February 4th, 2021, I have received my second vaccine for the COVID-19 virus.
